The new SI Magazine was released on Thursday 24 October and was eagerly awaited by all CM fans. The first issue of the magazine showed CM4 screens for the first time ever and listed all new features. It also gave away a free CD with a rolling demo of the new 2D match engine for CM4 and a free CM 01/02 hints booklet. The magazine cost £5.99 but I think it was well worth the money. Issue 2 will have even more great CM4 stuff and the chance for you to play the game for the first time in a season demo. The main things are the CM4 rolling demo and images gallery which have been used around the scene. However for the lucky 13 CM fans sites one of the best things about buying this mag was that it featured alink of their site. Love of CM was featured and is expected to be featured in future issues. There is also a host of tactics to download in order to help you play the game like the guys at SI and the final Official CM 01/02 update. Therefore all in all the free CD was a great surprise. The Free Booklet I was very impressed with this free CM hints booklet. If you are a first time game this will give you everything you need to know in order to play CM to a good standard. However even as an experience cm gamer there is inside SI information that can help. A lot of this information was taken from the scene and you may have seen it around but it is handy to have it in one place so I would reccomend you buy Issue 1 if you still have the chance. Most of the basics hints were already on this site and some of the advanced CM hints have now also been added. Issue 2 This will be available in February in time for CM4 and will feature the first demo of the game for you to play. It will probably be a season demo like SI have done before so when CM4 is released will be able to continue your game. Love of CM is hopefully going to be featured in the magazine in some way with possibly an interview or review for the new site. There will be more CM4 shots and the latest news on what is in and out of CM4 so all in all well worth buying really. Also if that was not enought there will also be the free CD in which the scene is to have more involvement. What is actally to go on this is not decided yet. The magazine has said that this issue will incopreate more fans info from the scene so get sending it now. I will also be supplying some information for the 2nd Issue of the magazine.
